Audrey Justine Tautou, a French actress and model, rose to fame internationally with her portrayal of a shy exaggerated waitress that won numerous awards for her role in romance film Amelie. Tautou's charisma, beauty and acting skills are the reason she has been her being compared to Audrey Hepburn. She is an ideal blend of appearance and talents. Though she was born into an intelligent family with dark hair, her parents were teachers and dentists. The acting profession was not the first task she ever planned to pursue. While in school, she got attracted to acting and made the decision to go into acting in the field of professional. She attended the Cours-Florent acting class and got her first acting role in the TV film Coeur de cible. She made her feature film debut with Venus Beauty Institute for which she received a lot of praise. She is a daring actress who likes to try out diverse roles. Her film credits range from Amelie which is a romantic comedy to Dirty Pretty Things, a thriller. A native of France she appeared in numerous French films prior to she made her Hollywood debut alongside Tom Hanks in the film The Da Vinci Code. Her sense of style sets her apart as an actress.
